The Eatons Hill P&C is recruiting for a Uniform Shop Convenor who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the uniform shop. The Uniform Convenor will report directly to the P&C Business Operations Manager and ultimately to the P&C Executive.
Planning, organizing and monitoring the day-to-day operations of the shop, including daily record keeping, opening and closing, and ensuring that all volunteers sign in and out;
Operating any online ordering software to maintain the uniform offerings, manage the day's orders and run reports to show online order statistics as required;
Ensuring that the security of the uniform shop for money, keys and equipment is maintained. The locking of all doors and windows, switching off all appliances and restricting entry to the shop of only authorized personnel;
Ordering and purchasing stock from approved providers, in accordance with stock arrangements provided by the P&C and checking all supplies against invoices and delivery dockets;
Ensuring that stock is kept at appropriate levels, stock controls are enforced and stock take is undertaken at the end of each school term;
Provide leadership and supervision to staff and volunteers;
Recruiting volunteers to assist and support.
The position offers 7 hours per week with occasion for more hours. Work hours generally fall between 8:00-3:00, Monday to Friday.

Receipt of goods;
Daily cleaning to maintain hygiene standards;
Actively promoting the goals and objectives of the P&C.
The number of hours will vary per week (approximately 3-9) due to business needs. Work hours will generally fall between 8:00-3:00, Monday to Friday.

This permanent role, offering approximately 30 hours per week, requires split shifts (6:30-9:30am and 2:30-5:30pm) and pays above award wages.
Assist families with enrolment and related matters
Communicate with families to resolve their inquiries
Establish genuine relationships with families
Process enrolments, bookings and attendance using Qikkids software
Coordinate supplemental aspects of the program such as extra-curricular activities, medication registers and booking waitlists
Occasional support on the floor during sessions as an educator.
Possess strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience delivering high quality customer service
Microsoft office experience, specifically Outlook, Excel and Word
Experience using Qikkids software
Certificate 111 or Diploma qualification in childcare is beneficial but not required
Current working with children blue card (or ability to obtain)
Senior first-aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis management certifications (or willingness to obtain).
